Frequently Asked Questions

I can’t log in. What do I do?

Check that you confirmed your email — your account isn’t active until you click the link in the confirmation email. Go to growerslink.com/resend-activation-email to get a new one sent. If your email is confirmed but you still can’t log in, go to growerslink.com/recover-password to reset your password.

I didn’t receive my confirmation email.

Check your spam or junk folder. If it’s not there, go to growerslink.com/resend-activation-email and we’ll send it again.

I forgot my password.

Go to growerslink.com/recover-password, enter your email, and follow the link we send you.

I signed up but can’t access the site properly.

After confirming your email you need to choose a plan. Go to your avatar menu (top right) and click Choose a Plan. Even the free plans — Essential and Consumer — need to be selected before you get full access.

My payment failed.

If your payment didn’t go through you’ll land on the Transaction Failure page. Go to growerslink.com/pricing, select your plan again, and try a different card or switch between Visa/Mastercard and PayPal. Still having issues? Use the form in the end of the page.

Where is my listing after I posted it?

Go to growerslink.com/payment-receipt to confirm your order went through. If payment was successful and your listing still isn’t showing, contact us.

How does pickup and delivery work?

Marketplace and Growing Gear classified listings are for local listings — buyers and sellers arrange pickup or local delivery directly between themselves. If you need something shipped nationally, browse the Store where suppliers sell and ship products across Australia.

How do I change my plan?

Click your avatar (top right) and select Choose a Plan. Your current plan shows at the top — click Change to switch or Abandon to cancel. You can upgrade or downgrade any time.

Where is my monthly listing coupon?

Your coupon is at the very top of your monthly Growerslink newsletter — before the news. Check your inbox for the Growerslink email. If you haven’t received it, check spam or contact us.

What’s the difference between a Marketplace listing and a Growing Gear listing?

Marketplace listings are visible to everyone — the public, consumers, and all members. Growing Gear listings are only visible to Growers. Use Growing Gear for equipment, tools, and supplies traded within the grower community.

What happens when my listing expires after 30 days?

Listings do not auto-renew. After 30 days use a new monthly coupon to re-list.

Can I have more than one plan at a time?

No — one active plan at a time. Go to avatar → Choose a Plan to switch.

I want to start selling. What plan do I need?

For classified listings you need Essential or above plus your monthly coupon. For a full storefront you need Grower Plus or Supplier Plus.

Where is the sitemap?

Find it in the footer at the bottom of any page on the site.

This plan requires: confirmed email + Consumer plan selected.

Getting Started

Go to growerslink.com and click Join
Enter a username, email, and password (at least 12 characters)
Tick Terms & Conditions, complete the robot check, click Register
Click the activation link in your confirmation email
On the plan page select Consumer — Free and click Subscribe → you’ll land on the Growers directory

Your Account Menu

Click your avatar icon in the top right corner at any time to access: Dashboard, Edit Profile, Cart, Checkout, Choose a Plan, Log Out.

Edit Your Profile

Go to avatar → Edit Profile. As a Consumer you can update:

Name, nickname, and how your name displays publicly
Phone and Telegram
Facebook and Instagram
Password
Billing and Shipping address for store orders

Browse the Marketplace — fresh produce, dried crops, seedlings, and seeds from local growers
Browse the Store — products sold directly by growers and suppliers
Browse the Horticulture Directory — find growers, hydroponic stores, nurseries, and suppliers near you and contact them directly
View the Interactive Map — find local growers in your area on a live map

Go to avatar → Choose a Plan to upgrade and start selling or listing.

Can’t log in — check your email is confirmed, or go to growerslink.com/resend-activation-email
Profile not saving — make sure all required fields are filled and click Save
Can’t find a grower near you — try the Interactive Map at growerslink.com/interactive-map

Adding Your Monthly Listing

Your monthly coupon is at the top of your Growerslink newsletter — arrives each month, coupon first, then news.

⚠️ Without applying your coupon at checkout, the system will charge you standard listing fees.

Go to Marketplace → Add Listing in the top menu. Choose your listing type:

Marketplace — visible to everyone. Use for fresh produce, dried crops, seedlings, seeds.
Growing Gear — visible to Growers only.

⚠️ Growing Gear listings are NOT visible to consumers or the public — Growers only.

Select a listing package, apply your coupon at checkout, fill in Category, Title, Description, Tags, Price, Contact Info, Location, and photos (up to 13), then click Save & Preview → your listing goes live immediately and appears in the Marketplace.

Upgrading

Go to avatar → Choose a Plan any time to unlock more listings, direct chat, and a storefront.

If something doesn’t work

Listing not posting — make sure your plan is active and your coupon is applied at checkout
Not appearing on the map — update your address in Edit Profile
Coupon not working — check you copied it correctly from the newsletter, contact us if it keeps failing

Store Setup — address, suburb, state, country, store categories
Payment Setup — add your PayPal email to receive payments (you can skip and add later in Settings)
Done — click Go to your Store Dashboard → your store is live
